IO Organic Nero d’Avola, the Essence of Sicily. IO is a wine that, as its name suggests, expresses the essence of Sicily. Made from selected Nero d’Avola grapes, the indigenous Sicilian grape variety par excellence, IO stands out for its bold and unmistakable personality. Visually, it has an intense and brilliant ruby red color, which already reveals its rich structure. On the nose, a complex and enveloping bouquet captures the senses with notes of ripe red fruit, such as plum and sour cherry, enriched with spicy hints of black pepper and vanilla. On the palate, the wine is warm and soft, with velvety tannins and a pleasant freshness that makes it balanced and harmonious.

The Essence of Sicily IO is a wine that, as its name suggests, expresses the essence of Sicily. Made from selected Nero d’Avola grapes, the indigenous Sicilian grape variety par excellence, IO stands out for its bold and unmistakable personality. Visually, it has an intense and brilliant ruby red color, which already reveals its rich structure. On the palate, the wine is warm and soft, with velvety tannins and a pleasant freshness that makes it balanced and harmonious.

Tasting Notes

Brilliant red ruby colour stands out on the nose scents of red fruits such as plum and cherry are combined with hints of thyme and rosemary. Elegant tannins with a good freshness balanced with alcohol content are felt. Back on the palate the flavour of red fruit already felt on the nose. Lovely long tasting.
